Stencil marking with fountain roller
Fountain rollers are used for marking using a stencil. They are used to mark various products such as crates, barrels, cartons, bags, or metal boxes. Fountain rollers are suitable for mobile use, especially outdoors. The fountain rollers are available in different designs. The two fountain rollers shown are available with roll widths of 4 cm or 8 cm. The roll diameter is always 50 mm.
Fountain roller from MSSC
The fountain roller from MSSC (formerly MARSH) works with a refillable ink tank, which is best filled with MSSC Rolmark stencil ink. The sturdy, lightweight metal construction allows for easy handling and is characterized by durability. A pressure valve pumps the ink into the interior of the paint roller and dispenses it, evenly coating the roller from the inside.
OneShot refill roller
The OneShot fountain roller consists of a reusable roller system and a disposable ink cartridge that serves as a handle. Cartridge changes are quick, easy, and clean. Like MSSC Rolmark, the inks are quick-drying, water- and smudge-resistant, and suitable for almost all surfaces. The ink is also supplied by pressing the pressure valve.
Application
Press the pressure valve to fill the roller with ink. The roller is best held at a 45° angle to the surface to be marked. Rolling the roller over the stencil transfers the ink to the surface to be marked. The advantage of the roller over a spray can is the high-quality, sharp-edged marking that cannot be achieved with the same level of spray.
